| N.
albomarginata may be found in Borneo, Sumatra and
Peninsular Malaysia, on open ridges or forest margins up
to about 1100m. Its name is derived from the
characteristic narrow white band of fine hairs just below
the narrow peristome. The pitcher is covered with fine
hairs making it velvety to the the touch. Colour forms
include green, purple and red. It is moderately difficult
to cultivate and we have found it to be particularly
sensitive to chemicals. |
