| N. dubia may
be found in the mossy forest margins of the mountains of
Central Sumatra at altitudes of 1000m to 2500m. Similar
in shape to the pitchers of N. inermis, N. dubia is one
of the smallest members of the genus. It was once thought
to be a hybrid of N. inermis and N. bongso. N. dubia is
endangered, growing within a small area (less than
1000m). Pitchers may be green, red or orange in colour.
N.dubia is frequently epiphytic. It is difficult to
cultivate. |
