| N.
macfarlanei may be found on the eastern mountain ranges
of Peninsular Malaysia at altitudes between 1000m and
2200m where it prefers a shaded location. The lower
pitchers of N. macfarlanei have a characteristic
'moustache' of bristles on the underside of the lid at
the junction with the ribbed peristome. In our experience
it is very easy and rewarding to cultivate. It has many
colour forms. |
