Catalogue Interface changed
I have changed the way customers can
view the items in the catalogue. Now, instead wading through numbered
sections, you can, using the letters at the top and bottom of the
catalogue, go directly to all species that start with any letter of
the alphabet. If there are no species that start with the letter you
choose, a message is displayed to that effect.
This makes looking for a particular
species very easy. You can also view all items in the catalogue at
once if you wish, although it may take a while to download if you've
got a slow connection.
Pure species and hybrids are displayed
separately. Your comments on the new system are most welcome!

Beta Version uploaded.
An advanced version of the site has been uploaded
and members of the general public have been invited to test run it
and give us their comments. More work has been done on the back end
system of the reservations section, in order to make the system more
efficient and also to fix a few bugs in the code.
There is now lots more content for visitors as well
as a few more photos in the catalogue sections. Current sections/features
under development are:
- Section for members to edit the information they entered when
registering.
- Enable members to edit previously saved reservations.
- Feature for member to see what they have ordered on previous occasions.
- A comments section for visitors.
- and a few more that are only for site administrators (BE)
Also, soon to be added are the links to the FAQ section. Now this
is an extremely tedious process, as our current growing guide need
to be revamped and re complied to new information. There is, as yet,
no projected date for release.

Catalogue structure changed.
The catalogue section with direct link to the reservations
section has been completely redone to reflect the format of our new
and improved price list, which is available in PDF format for download.
Regular visitors can browse the catalogue to get
an indication of prices as well get a glimpse of the quality of our
plants. Some photos are not available as yet but will be uploaded
before the official release of the site.
Once visitors register with us and are given the
appropriate retail/wholesale status, they can log in to view the retail
or wholesale sections of the catalogue and place orders through the
website.

Alpha Version uploaded.
The rudimentary version of the site was uploaded
today to test out some of the basic functionality and page download
times. This version is only for code testing purposes and does not
have any content for general viewing.
